First Aid: (click to see course outline) The First Aid training course prepares the individual with the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent, recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over.
Wilderness and Remote First Aid (click to see course outline) The primary purpose of the American Red Cross Wilderness and Remote First Aid course is to provide individuals a foundation of first aid principles and skills to be able to respond to emergencies and give care in areas that do not have immediate emergency medical services (EMS) response (within 30 minutes), such as wilderness and remote environment, including urban disasters, such as earthquakes and hurricanes.
Whether you’re a scout, an outdoor enthusiast or you work in a remote environment, our Wilderness and Remote First Aid course gives you the skills you need to respond to an emergency when help may be delayed.
The course is based on the Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine Guidelines and offers enhanced content and topics to meet OSHA’s Best Practices for Workplace First Aid Training Programs. Prerequisites: Current First Aid, CPR/AED certification and must be 14 years of age or older.
Dog First Aid: (click to see course outline) The Dog First Aid training course is the immediate and temporary care given to an injured animal until it can be taken to a professional veterinarian for medical care and attention.
Cat First Aid: (click to see course outline) The Cat First Aid training course is the immediate and temporary care given to an injured animal until it can be taken to a professional veterinarian for medical care and attention.
All certified courses require the participant to demonstrate proficiency in required skills and may require successfully completion of a written exam.
Our comprehensive courses meet the training guidelines for programs established by the American Red Cross and/or the American Heart Association.
CPR Arizona's training complements adult and youth learning styles with visual presentation and hands on practice with the availability of take away materials to serve as excellent refresher tools after training is completed. These courses are for employees, students, parents, care givers and those who are deal with animals. And our training format allows you to add other type of life saving training courses.
